EU's new budgetary period, 2007-2013, started on the 1 st of January 2007. The entire funding scheme for this period has been modified and new programmes have been launched. The total commitment appropriations for this period are more than 864 billion euro (in 2004 prices) and now there are more funds available for virtually any European organization compared to the previous period.

New programmes have been created and the funding scheme has been modified, therefore, although most of the programmes are similar to those of the previous period, the changes bring a lot to discover in order to find the right way in the EU funding jungle…

The 2007-2013.eu website aims to facilitate the understanding of the complex EU funding mechanisms and to introduce the new funding opportunities in a well-structured way. The website is being continuously updated in parallel with the structural and budgetary changes that the new programmes are undergoing.
